Perhaps you came here looking for a gift for a friend, relative, or loved one, but don't really understand our games at all. Allow us to give you some advice. We have many products, some of which are intended for veteran gamers and some for casual games. As any veteran gamer in your life has probably told you exactly what to buy including the stock number, we will give you some advice on gifts for casual gamers or star trek fans.

STAR FLEET BATTLE FORCE
This is a card game costing $22.95 plus shipping. One copy of this game is enough for six players and the game is suitable for ages 10 and up. The game can be learned in half an hour and played in an hour or less. Players have a fleet of starship cards on the table in front of them, and several weapons and special cards in their hand.
Whenever the symbols on the cards in their hand match those on the ships of their fleet, the card can be used to blast the enemy!

FEDERATION COMMANDER: KLINGON BORDER
This is a board game of starship combat. It sells for $59.95 and is suitable for ages 14 and up. One copy of the game is enough for several players, but most battles are fought in one-vs-one matches (with perhaps several ships on each side). It can be learned in an hour and played in 45-60 minutes. The ship includes 16 starships from the Federation and Klingon Empire. Each starship is represented on the map by a full-color "tile" one inch square and by a full-color 5x8 laminated ship card. As the ship moves around the map and fires weapons, it uses power which is tracked by sliding a paperclip down a printed scale on the side of the card. As the ship takes damage, this is marked directly on the card with a wipe-off marker (one is provided in the box).

FEDERATION COMMANDER: ACADEMY
For a budget gift, get this $24.95 version of Klingon Border (above). It has only four ships and a paper map instead of a mounted chipboard map, but is a fully-functional game.

PEWTER STARSHIPS
These are precision-scale starships cast in lead free pewter. Most are 2-3 inches long, some are larger or smaller. While we have over 100 different starships available, the most common gift for a loved one is either the Federation Heavy Cruiser (USS Enterprise or any of her 23 sisterships) or the Klingon D7 battlecruiser. Either one is only $7.95. We also have boxes of five or six starships which cost $24.95 or $39.95.
